Exactly my case
Two new recruitment advisors at the Siegen-Wittgenstein district police authority are now available to offer personal and detailed advice to interested parties

Exciting job for young, motivated people

There has been a change of personnel at the recruitment advisors of the Siegen-Wittgenstein district police authority. From now on, applicants can contact Detective Chief Superintendent Nadine Kunick and Police Chief Superintendent Michael Materna.

If you are interested in the police profession, you can contact the two police officers. They will then advise applicants on how to join the police force. The two are looking forward to numerous consultations and explain: "We both really enjoy our job. The special thing about it: It's really varied and has exciting areas of responsibility."
And the police profession is just that: security, criminal investigation, traffic services - these are just the generic terms. Behind each one, there are other interesting, exciting and varied activities on offer.
In focus: A profession that is committed to the safety of the people of North Rhine-Westphalia. That is why the police in North Rhine-Westphalia are looking for applicants. The state of NRW currently offers around 3,000 positions every year on September 1st.

Interested? If you would like to apply to us, you should meet the following requirements:
In addition to the Abitur or full entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences, school or vocational application requirements include, for example, a master craftsman's certificate or completed vocational training in combination with several years of professional experience in the profession you have learned or another profession.
The state of North Rhine-Westphalia promises all students who have successfully completed their studies a subsequent binding employment in the police service of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
In addition to the basic requirements mentioned above, the police doctor must certify fitness for police service from a medical point of view. From a sporting point of view, the German Sports Badge in bronze and the German Lifeguard Badge in bronze (alternatively the normal swimming badge in gold) must be proven by July 1st of the recruitment year. The sports and swimming certificates must not be older than 24 months.

A minimum height of 163 cm is still required for all applicants (exceptions are possible!)

If you meet all the application requirements and successfully complete a subsequent three-day selection process, you can look forward to an exciting three-year dual Bachelor's degree course. Students already receive a salary of around €1000 per month during their training.
After successfully completing the course, you will be a police commissioner in the senior civil service.

Our two recruitment advisors, Nadine Kunick and Michael Materna, are certain: "With us, you can learn a highly interesting, varied and crisis-proof profession with a wide range of subsequent employment opportunities. Are you interested? Then join our team 110"!

We also offer information events and are also represented as a contact partner at various regional events.
